In the morning, we will have free time to explore and explore the island of Tromsøya, where we recommend visiting its main attractions, such as its impressive Arctic Cathedral, its numerous museums, the Polaria Aquarium, or the Polar Museum.

After our visit we will take a walk to the Storsteinen viewpoint with a height of 451 meters, from where we will obtain a beautiful panoramic view of the city and the fjords that surround it. Depending on the season, we will be able to contemplate the midnight sun.

Optional: cable car ride

Return to accommodation. Dinner on your own.

We will leave for the island of Senja enjoying an enviable natural environment and remote places. Once we arrive at our starting point, we will embark on a fascinating navigation through the Andfjorden fjord that will take us to Andenes, a town at the northern end of the Vesterålen islands.

Once here and to end the day, we will go to the small fishing village of Bleik where we will trek in which we will be surrounded by endless mountains with rounded peaks that plunge directly into the ocean and paradisiacal beaches with crystal clear waters.

Dinner and accommodation on the island of Andøya.

Vesterålen is the only place in Norway where you can go whale watching at any time of the year. The reason is that here the continental shelf is closer to the mainland than on the rest of the Norwegian coast and today an exciting day awaits us that will not leave anyone indifferent. In the morning, we will go to the coastal area of Andenes for an unforgettable whale safari. We will navigate to get closer to the Bleik canyon, the sighting place where these cetaceans arrive every year. We will have the opportunity to observe many other species, such as orcas, pilot whales, dolphins and humpback whales that often frequent these cold waters.

Once our activity is finished and to get to our accommodation, we will take the panoramic road of the Isla de Andoya until we reach Sortland. We will stop at one of its numerous viewpoints to contemplate the views and try to spot seals.

At the end of the day we will make a stop in the largest town of the Vesteralen Islands, Sortland, with its beautiful Blåbrygge pier with blue houses.

Dinner and accommodation on the island of Langøya.

After breakfast, we will spend a good part of the morning getting to know one of the most important and genuine products of the country’s gastronomy, Norwegian salmon. We will head to the small town of Blokken where, aboard a zodiac, we will arrive at the fish farm and they will tell us all about its production, we will visit the exhibition and taste this wonderful delicacy.

We will continue in our vehicle through the island of Hinnøya and around the lands of the Møysalen National Park. Without ceasing to be surprised by the multitude of islands and islets that emerge from the waters of the North Sea until we reach Svolvær, the town of artists. We will have free time to visit it and get to know its impressive Svolværgeita (Svolvær’s goat), the most symbolic mountain in the city and a real challenge for climbers.

Dinner and accommodation on the island of Austvågsøya.

After breakfast, we will go to see the famous Trollfjord fjord; It is short and narrow but it is surrounded by high mountains that exceed 1100 meters in height. We will equip ourselves and take a speedboat that will take us through the Øyhellsundet strait, to Raftsundet and finally, to the magnificent fjord. This has a large population of sea eagles, the largest in the world, with a wingspan of more than 2.5 meters; we will be able to see them orbit above our heads. The rest of the day will be dedicated to exploring one of the most famous scenic roads in Norway, with more than 200 km and which crosses the Lofoten from north to south, the picturesque King’s Route. We will go through emblematic fishing villages of the archipelago observing how the Norwegians have been able to adapt to a totally wild and hostile territory.

On our tour, we will cross the island Vestvågøy where we will stop to visit the Borg Viking Museum.

We will learn about the culture of this beautiful archipelago and its strong connection to the Viking era. And already on the island of Flakstadøya, we will be able to visit the picturesque town of Nusfjord, a fantastic corner chosen as a pilot project for the conservation of architectural styles in 1975, with beautiful houses from the 19th century that illustrate the development of fish factories dedicated to cod. To end the day we will go to Ramberg beach on the north coast of the archipelago, where we can take a relaxing walk along a beautiful beach that gives us an incredible panoramic view of arctic peaks as a backdrop.

Dinner and overnight on the island of Moskenesøya.

Today we will dedicate the day to the island of Moskenesøya, the most spectacular and rugged of them all. Admiring one of the most impressive landscapes in the north, interrupted by islands and islets that mix with high mountains and beautiful fjords. We will start the day by walking until we reach a wonder of nature, the hidden beach of Kvalvika, or “the beach of the whales”. Here we will enjoy a panoramic view that will leave us speechless with views of its paradisiacal crystalline turquoise waters and white sand.

After our walk we will go to the most picturesque towns on the island.

We will visit the town of Reine, considered the most beautiful in all of Lofoten, with its old houses of such an intense red color that they make it indescribable. These houses are dedicated to cod fishing. Later, we will go to Å, the most isolated and remote town in the archipelago where we will see how fishing and traditional uses are still alive, with its cod drying rooms. We will end our day boarding a ferry to the city of Bodø where our overnight accommodation is located today.

Accommodation in Bodo.

Free time until the transfer to the airport. Return flight.

Note: The itinerary can be done in one direction or another without distinction. For logistics reasons in the country, some location or accommodation may change without prior notice. This does not usually happen, but Norway is one of the world destinations with the greatest increase in travelers in recent years and on certain occasions we have had to make small changes on the fly for external reasons. This does not affect the visits to be made and the guides always try to include as much as possible.
